During my last day of computer graphics before break, I finished up my Full Page Ad. I am still debating whether or not I am gonna keep it the way it is.

On Friday I finished creating my coffin out of cardboard. The top part did not fit over the bottom so I decided that I am going to create it out of paper on Monday.

During class today I started to work on my package design.

 

During class today I finished the logo I had started on Friday. At the end of class I realized my logo didn't target my product "Reflections." So I decided to come up with a new logo at home and created this. 

With my new logo I decided to keep the colors dark and gloomy to relate to the product. I also incorporated a mirror into the O because my products main feature is a mirror. 

I formed the "I" with rosary beads because I feel that rosary beads are always found at funerals to symbolizes remembrance of departed loved ones.  

During today's class I went over my product with the class, and started to create my logo. I am uncertain with it, but I'm planning on changing it next class.

Purpose Statement

The product I have created is intended to market heavy smokers of our generation who are willing to stop their deadly habit. The name of my product is “Reflections.” The outside of my cigarette box resembles a casket, and when you open up the box, there is a mirror inside. The mirror is placed there to show the consumers face in the casket every time they open the box to smoke a cigarette. Showing, if they smoke, death is in their near future. The consumer of the product will always have an understanding of what exactly that cigarette is doing to them and the people around them each time they inhale that cigarette, leading them to hopefully stop their catastrophic addiction.  

Today I figured out the product I am going to make for this anti-smoking project. I am thinking about a piece of fabric that has a bunch of zippers and is complicated to open to go over the cigarett pack, so that it's hard to open, leading to everyone not wanting to smoke.

Today I thought of another idea for my antismoking ad and started to change my original.

Today I started to add more detail to my card. I did this by adding shapes and also putting drop shadows, strokes ect. on the card too.

I was happy with the original final of my project, but later on when I printed it, the right side of the poster was too dark. To resolve this problem I duplicated every other layer and flipped them horizontally so that the yellow and blue colors were equaled out. I also added another picture of the characters to the poster and but the opacity on low so it would blend in with the background. I am even happier with my poster now that I made these corrections.

Today I stated my poster for The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. This is very hard because I feel that everyone is doing the same theme, and I want to try and think outside of the box to make mine different.

I tried to email my photos to the computer today to start my project, but the internet on my phone did not work! So when I get home tonight I will be sure to email the photos and get going on my project tomorrow.

During today's class we went outside and took pictures for our photobombing project.

I finally finished my cartoon profile picture and uploaded it. I didnt know a project so little could take so much time! I don't know if my cartoon actually looks like me, but I tryed my best.

I also started to research pictures for the next project. So far I got Will and Kate's wedding.

Today I added detail to my cartoon me, It is very hard to create your own self!

This is my finished triangle logo splashpage.

I finished one of my buisness cards and started my letter head, I hate how it's blurry and I don't know how to fix it, but overall I think it came out pretty good.

I started to work on my triangle acg logo today, im still trying to figure out where to put the word "graphics." Hopefully I will finish it tomorrow!

Today I finished my circle acg graphics logo and started to work on my triangle one. I am really happy on how my first logo came out.

Today I started to brainstorm for my ACG graphics design.
